Mike Mavrigan, author for Auto Service Professional, Talks about the lore and factual evidence regarding when you should change your vehicles oil and filter.

His article on Auto Service Professional titled "Oil change intervals revisited" goes into detail and discredits the ploy that oil changes are just "A scam created by service centers" by using chemistry as his basis for argument.
